The election is finally over - two long, long years of campaigning. As it turned out, Barack Obama won by a large margin and had coattails, too. Both the Senate and the House had large gains. So, does this mean Obama has a mandate? Can he or will he move to the left, or will he follow the clamor from many to "move to the middle"? Today's salon considers: what are to expect from this man? Hopes, beliefs, doubts, fears, a myriad of prospects that range between the mild and the surreal. Yet, only a few can come true. So.......?

Hosted by Rick Vanderslice on November 9th in Dallas, Texas. Recorded with social and political observer Roy Calhoun, writer and podcaster John Selig, and writer/blogger/poet R.J. Jackson.
